Michael Mays is an experienced and fully qualified valuer offering reliable independent guidance concerning antiques and works of art to clients throughout the midland counties and East Anglia. As a Chartered Arts & Antiques Surveyor he is able to offer advice on the valuation, sale, purchase and management of your possessions.

Michael Mays has been involved in valuing antiques and offering advice on the fine arts for over twenty-five years, building a reputation for integrity, discretion, courtesy and professionalism.

A graduate in History of Art at Leicester University, winning the Luke Hermann Prize and the University Arts Faculty Prize, Michael trained at Christie's in London and worked for many years as an auctioneer and valuer under the auspices of the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers.

As a Chartered Arts & Antiques Surveyor Michael Mays' work is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. The RICS is the only recognised UK professional body to govern valuers of antiques and fine arts.

Over the years solicitors, church commissioners, bank trust departments, insurance brokers, television productions companies, architects, charities and monastic orders as well as private collectors, auctioneers, executors and beneficiaries have sought our advice.
