Formally on display at Montecute House, Somerset, the National Trust stately home.

Rather than offering the chairs through a sale of fine English furniture, we arranged for their inclusion, with permission, in a large country house auction. The chairs were afforded a detailed provenance and sold for a price well in excess of that anticipated by the London specialists.
