Printed Parables - Rare Old Master prints.
Hans Sebald Beham (1500-1550)
The Prodigal Son Feasting, a small engraving, 6x10cm.
A vellum envelope was discovered amongst old books. The envelope contained a small collection of Old Master prints by Beham.
Carefully catalogued by Michael Mays and subdivided into appropriate lots, the prints were successfully sold at auction.
