Textiles in the attic - Arts & Crafts in Hampstead.
A Morris & Co. printed cotton 'Cray' pattern cover, printed on the selvedge "Morris & Company 449 Oxford Street, London W."
This piece of Arts & Crafts block printed fabric, together with two other covers, a pelmet and a pair of Morris & Co. hand woven Jacquard curtains, had for many years been stored in a suitcase in the attic of a London home.
Offered in a specialist London auction the collection realised £5,400.
